Yes! We offer in-person pickup at the Midtown Farmers Market on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon (April 12 – November 1). During checkout, simply select your preferred pickup date. You can learn more about the market, here.


Since our confections are made to order, we typically require 48 hours to prepare your selection. If you have any questions or need alternate arrangements, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re happy to work with you to ensure your experience is as sweet as can be!

Yes! We offer free shipping on all orders of $95 or more. Orders are shipped via FedEx, with an estimated delivery time of 2 days depending on the destination.


Because our confections are delicate, each order is carefully packed with complimentary insulated liners and frozen cold packs to help prevent melting during transit.


For orders under $95, a flat-rate shipping fee of $24 will apply.


Currently, we can only ship to the 48 contiguous states (and Washington DC). 


Non-contiguous states and territories include Alaska (AK), American Samoa (AS), Federated States of Micronesia (FM), Guam (GU), Hawaii (HI), Marshall Islands (MH), Northern Mariana Islands (MP), Palau (PW), Puerto Rico (PR), US Virgin Islands (VI), Armed Forces Americas (AA), Armed Forces Europe (AE), and Armed Forces Pacific (AP). 


All orders ship via FedEx with an estimated delivery time of 2 days, depending on the destination. Because our confections are delicate, each package includes complimentary insulated liners and frozen cold packs to prevent melting during transit.


You’ll receive FedEx tracking information, and we encourage you to sign up for tracking updates to ensure your order arrives promptly.


Please do not leave your package outside in the heat. Once unpacked, store your confections in a cool, dry place between 55-65°F to keep them at their best.


To ensure your order spends minimal time in transit, we only ship Monday through Thursday. Because each order is made-to-order by our small-batch team of two, we typically require 48 hours to create your selection.


You’ll receive an Order Confirmation email after placing your order, and a Shipping Notification once it’s on the way.


For the sweetest experience, we recommend enjoying your confections within 45 days of receiving them.


Please note: During periods of inclement weather, holidays, or increased demand, processing or transit times may be slightly extended. We’ll always do our best to keep you informed.

We understand how disappointing it can be when an order arrives damaged, and we’re here to help make it right. As a small-batch business, we take great care when packaging every order, but if your package arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours. 


FedEx requires photo documentation for all damage claims. To help us assist you, please include the following in your email:

  • A close-up of the damaged area
  • Two full shots of the product (from the side and overhead)
  • A photo of the packaging or box


Once we receive your photos, we’ll work promptly to resolve the situation and ensure your chocolate journey stays as sweet as possible.


While we closely monitor the status of all shipments, delays can occasionally occur once a package is in the hands of the carrier. If your order has not arrived within the expected delivery window, please contact us promptly at explore@thesweeteststate.com. We will gladly work with FedEx to investigate the delay and find a solution as quickly as possible.


Because our confections are made-to-order, we kindly ask that any cancellations or changes be submitted by 5:00 p.m. EST on the same business day the order is placed. After that time, we begin preparing your treats, and changes may not be possible. If you need assistance, please contact us right away at explore@thesweeteststate.com, we're happy to help whenever we can.


No, we ship all orders in a single package to ensure quality and consistency. As a small-batch business, each order is handcrafted and packed by just the two of us, so everything ships together and is made with care just for you.


Yes. State and local jurisdictions require us to collect tax based on where orders are sold, not the orders' shipping destination. This step is automatically calculated during the checkout process.
