Welcome to The Sweetest State Confections

Discover a story in every bite, one handcrafted confection at a time.

Inspired by the rich history and signature flavors of each state, our mendiants offer a taste of tradition and a touch of home in each unique piece. 

Based in Raleigh, North Carolina, these small-batch creations are lovingly crafted by just two women with a passion for connecting people through each sweet journey.

Our 5 Regional Collections of the country are designed to capture memories with each taste, and are available in assorted collections including the Southeast, Northeast, Midwest, Southwest, and Great West.


Your sweet journey embarks with our whimsical and classic edible works of art. Each handcrafted mendiant (men-dee-ahnt, French pronunciation: [mɑ̃-djɑ̃]) begins with a rich and silky base and is topped with fruits, nuts, or unique creations that highlight the flavors for which each state is known. 


Each piece is a tiny adventure of its own, hand-decorated and crafted in small batches. Subtle variations are a natural part of this artistry, making every mendiant truly unique.

 Our confections are available through select retail partners, including RDU and CLT airports.
